example for attacking a metasploit server

sudo ettercap -TQP dos attack 

then it asks you to enter

• victim's IP address

• An unused IP address

Poison ARP Cache

sudo ettercap -G

Opens the GUI

• Switch off sniffing at the startup

• Press the tick

• Hosts > Scan for hosts

• Hosts > Hosts List

• Add IP address to target 1

• Confirm: Targets > Current Targets

• Select ARP Poisoning > OK
